The Pink Cafe, by Catherine J. Logie

This week I had the great pleasure of hosting the book launch for a new author with her first book, The Pink Cafe, written under the pseudonym of Catherine J. Logie.

Congratulations, Lynn, you are now a published author.

I met the author, Lynn, in October 2023 at a business meeting, and as we munched on the lovely breakfast rolls and supped our tea, Lynn said,

“I’m writing a book about a cafe, and I wondered if you’d be my editor.”

When I heard cafe and book in the same sentence, I had no hesitation in accepting the role.

For the next few months, Lynn sent me three chapters at a time to edit. This meant that I could not scan to the end of the book to see what happened. I really didn’t know what the ending was until I had finished editing the last chapter.

And it wasn’t what I expected.

Writing is easy. Getting your book into people's hands is not so easy, so why not make a new author jump for joy and click the link below to buy her book?

The Pink Cafe

A few years ago, a friend of mine, Kim, told me I didn't need a tearoom to help people. I didn't believe her at the time, but seeing people publishing books that I have been involved in is proving my friend was right.
