Some dogs come into our lives by chance. Others arrive because they are meant to.
In the quiet Scottish town of Kirkintilloch, a woman recovering from life-changing surgery began to lose hope - until a gentle voice surfaced in her mind:
"The dog is waiting for you, and you will smile once more with her."
Far away on a farm in Dalguise - the very village where Beatrix Potter once spent her childhood summers - a black-and-white Border Collie puppy was born. Her kennel club name was Beinn Fhada, a Scottish mountain. But fate, intuition, and a whisper of magic would soon lead her to a new life, and a new name: Beatrix.
This is the heartwarming and mystical true tale of a dog who became far more than a companion. Beatrix walked beside Debra as she healed - physically, emotionally, and spiritually - offering unconditional love, fierce loyalty, and moments of uncanny intuition that felt impossible to explain.
I've laughed out loud, wept, frowned and gasped – not a quiet little read! – Amazon reviewer
