By March 2020, the world was dealing with the devastating effects of the Covid 19 virus that was ripping its way across the world and by 1st June 2020 we had made the heart-breaking decision to close our Magical Tearoom on the Hill permanently. The local paper, Falkirk Herald were so taken by our story they published a full page article on us and our new chapter in the life of Mother Murphy's.
Hopefully by the time you are reading this book, you are now able to order on-line from Mother Murphy’s Home Baking and Afternoon Teas. Who knows – if you’re reading this a few years down the line, maybe there is another Mother Murphy’s Tearoom somewhere serving the same magic, love, laughter, chat and, of course, tea and cakes.
