My next children’s book, The Tale of Florence and the Bitter Cookie, is now available to pre-order.
Pre-order your signed copy now. Copies will be posted on publication day, 14 December 2026, in time for Christmas.
There’s chaos in the kitchen. A very angry cookie is throwing gingernuts all over the floor, and everyone wants him to stop. Florence the Border Collie does something different: instead of telling him off, she asks him what has made him so bitter.
Finding the answer means breaking one of Aurorla’s rules about time travel. Florence decides that some rules are worth breaking, as long as you have a genuinely good reason.
A warm, funny story about kindness, understanding and trusting your own judgement. It was created with help from children at Elland C of E Primary School in Elland, West Yorkshire.
Book 8 of The Magical Adventures of Florence the Border Collie, like every Florence book, has a recipe at the back for you to make together.
Every copy is signed by me. Postage and packing are added at checkout.
